István Láng (1933-2023)

We bid farewell to István Láng, Erkel and Bartók-Pásztory Prize-winning composer and former teacher at the Liszt Academy, who died at the age of 91. His memory and his diverse oeuvre, which encompassed many genres, will be cherished.

Budapest, Hamburg, Köln - Three performances in four days in October: Hungarian and German premieres

György Kurtág's one-act opera, based on Samuel Beckett's play, has so far been performed in six countries: in Milan (2018), Amsterdam (2019), Valencia (2020), Paris (2022), Antwerp (2022) and London (2023).  The work is performed in Budapest at the Palace of Arts (12th), followed by the German premiere at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (15th) and the Filharmonie in Cologne (20th).
